ACL Reconstruction Surgery
Every year, nearly 800,000 Americans tear their ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) during physical activity and most require ACL reconstruction surgery to replace the torn ligament. The ACL is the major stabilizing ligament of the knee, running from the thigh bone to the shin bone through the center of the knee. Tearing the ACL usually occurs when a person suddenly changes direction or a decelerating force hits the knee, as often happens while engaged in physical activity. A popping sensation and even a popping sound may be experienced as the ligament tears, and there is a rapid onset of pain and swelling. Even after the corrective arthroscopic knee surgery to repair the ligament, pain and swelling may continue and the recovery is a lengthy and uncomfortable process often taking up to four to six months to return to your regular activities and sports. .However, TraumaCare™ can positively impact your comfort while recovering from an ACL injury. TraumaCare™ is the only Homeopathic Arnica Montana clinically proven to reduce bruising and swelling and can be taken to speed recovery after the initial ACL tear and after the surgery. By reducing the swelling, TraumaCare™ will also reduce the pain that you experience in your recovery. TraumaCare™ is a safe and effective remedy that will help ensure a fast healing process with less bruising and swelling.

After a root canal, dental implant or wisdom teeth removal, patients experience swelling, post-operative pain and even some bruising. For example, having teeth removed, having teeth moved for orthodontia, or having one's gums operated on may all cause a degree of trauma that can result in the same bruising and swelling seen in other types of surgery. Dentists recommend TraumaCare™ to help reduce the swelling and bruising of the face and gums skin that occur after oral surgeries.
Dental Post-Op Pain and Post-Root Canal Pain
After a dental surgery or root canal, many patients experience pain and often bruising and swelling that impact their ability to go about their normal routine. In these instances dentists may prescribe medication to numb the pain, but these medications will not reduce the bruising and swelling associated with the procedure. Taking TraumaCare™ will reduce the brusing and swelling of the face and gums and lessen the time that you will need the pain medication, getting you back to your daily life faster.
Dental Implant Recovery
Dental implants are a significant advance over traditional dental bridges, and they look and feel a lot better. The implants are tiny titanium "fixtures" that take the place of a tooth's natural root. A permanent tooth, custom-designed and colored, is placed over the implant. However, the surgery that accompanies the dental implant may involve swelling and bruising that may last for severaldays after the surgery. Once patients begin taking TraumaCare™ they will see a marked reduction in bruising and swelling, which is why many dentists recommend taking TraumaCare™ as part of the dental implant recovery process.

Wisdom Teeth Removal Recovery
When you have a wisdom tooth or teeth removed, your oral surgeon will let you know that swelling of your jaw and face (cheeks) is normal, and some bruising around your jaw and/or upper neck is a normal part of recovery. The swelling can make it difficult for you to open your mouth fully, but this begins to subside within about three days of the surgery. Therefore, oral surgeons routinely recommend the strength of the Homeopathic Arnica Montana found in TraumaCare™ to lessen or eliminate the swelling and bruising,, making the recovery easier and faster.
Tooth extraction also often leads to bleeding in the area of the pulled tooth. Patients report that they experience less bleeding than expected when taking TraumaCare™.Also, tooth extraction patients often report that they do not need to use very many of the pain pills prescribed by the dentist because they also have much less pain than expected. TraumaCare speeds the recovery and reduces the dependence on pain pills in the healing process.
TraumaCare™ is used as a common addition to the recovery period for many oral surgeries. Whether for dental post-op pain, post-root canal pain, dental implant recovery, wisdom teeth removal recovery, or other instances of swelling and bruising after oral surgery, TraumaCare™ can help. Contact Alpine Pharmaceuticals to learn more, or order TraumaCare™ now for use with your next oral surgery.
TraumaCare™ Speeds Recovery after Cosmetic Surgery
The dosage regimen of TraumaCare™, also known under the clinical brand name SinEcch™, is custom-designed to reduce bruising and swelling and speed recovery after during the post-operative phase of the most common plastic surgery procedures: facelift, eyelid surgery,, rhinoplasty (nose surgery), breast augmentation or reconstruction , and liposuction.
TraumaCare™ has been clinically proven to reduce bruising and swelling. A 2006 study published in the major plastic surgery journal, the American Medical Association’s Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery, proved that using TraumaCare™ significantly reduced bruising and swelling and cut recovery time in half.
The study was conducted at the University of California San Francisco and involved 29 patients. A computer imaging program was used to objectively determine the amount of bruising and associated skin color changes in the patients, all of whom underwent the same surgical facelift procedure performed by the same doctor. Photographs were taken of the patients on post-operative days (PODs) 1, 5, 7, and 10. One group of patients received the TraumaCare™ regimen according to the TraumaCare™ protocol, and the other patients received a placebo (sugar pill) according to the same protocol. The patients did not know whether they were taking the TraumaCare™ regimen or the placebo, and neither did the plastic surgeon who assessed the bruising using digital imaging during the recovery period. Overall, the placebo group had 24 percent more bruising and a 50% longer recovery than the TraumaCare™ group. Read on for more details about TraumaCare™ clinical trials.

The Difference in Bruising on PODs 1 and 7 was Statistically Significant
On post-operative day (POD) 1, the placebo group had on average 26 percent more square centimeters (cm) of bruising than the group taking the TraumaCare™ regimen. The probability of this result happening by chance (the P-value) was analyzed and found to be less than 0.005 — that is, it was less than 5 chances out of 1,000 making it extremely unlikely that this result was due to chance. On POD 1, patients taking TraumaCare™ experienced 43 square centimenters (7 square inches), or 27%, less bruising than the placebo group. The appearance of bruising after a facelift has a direct impact on recovery and with lessened bruising, TraumaCare™ patients were on their way to a faster recovery.
By POD 7, the TraumaCare™ group had 41 percent less bruising than the placebo group and a P-value of less than 0.001, or less than 1 chance out of 1,000 that this result was due to chance. Pateients in the TraumaCare™ group had 56 square centimenters (9 square inches) less bruising on the face than the patients in the placebo group one week after the facelift.
Additionally, the clinical trial data shows that patients in the placebo group had a 50 percent longer recovery time than patients taking TraumaCare™. TraumaCare™ is clinically proven to positively impact your recovery process by reducing bruising and swelling and to quickly get you back to your daily life.
Many plastic surgeons in the United States routinely give their patients this dosing regimen to help reduce bruising and swelling during the facelift recovery period. Now this clinically proven regimen is available direct to you as TraumaCare™. Contact Alpine Pharmaceuticals to learn more.

Whether you choose to have nose surgery to enhance the proportion and appearance of your nose or to correct a medical condition, TraumaCare™ will reduce the bruising and swelling and speed your recovery. Bruising and swelling often occurs under the eyes (similar to the appearance of a “black eye”) and on the nose, though bruising can also appear on the cheeks. The bruises will change from purple to yellow to green and can last 10 days or more. Swelling and bruising on the face makes it difficult to go about your normal routine and to feel fully recovered from the procedure. Clinical trials show that with TraumaCare™ you will recover 50% faster and will experience far less bruising and swelling during your recovery. In fact, a recent patient in Hawaii asked her surgeon on the sixth day after her rhinoplasty surgery, “When does the bruising start?” – a truly remarkable statement after a rhinoplasty. While a bruise-free recovery may not happen for all patients, TraumaCare™ will make a significant reduction in bruising and swelling for every patient.

Breast Augmentation Recovery
Breast augmentation is more popular than ever among women who'd like to enhance their appearance or restore what disease has taken away. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) notes that nearl 399,440breast augmentation surgeries were performed in 2007, more than twice the number in 1998. An additional 68,000 women underwent breast reconstruction surgeryo following a mastectomy due to cancer or other disease.
Bruising and swelling are a normal part of the . The website of the ASAPS states that discoloration and swelling occur initially after the breast implant procedure, and then resolve over days or weeks; most of the lasting swelling recedes within a month. However, by taking the TraumaCare™ dosing regimen the recovery time will be greatly decreased.
Many plastic surgeons have their patients use the TraumaCare™ regimen in the breast augmentation recovery phase to combat the swelling and bruising by the surgery. If you are considering breast augmentation (or reduction) surgery

Liposuction Swelling and Bruising
Liposuction is becoming an increasingly common cosmetic surgery procedure, with more than 456,828 liposuctions performed in 2007, according to ASAPS. During a liposuction, a surgeon removes fat from certain areas of the body (e.g., thighs, abdomen, buttocks, face) by liquefying it and suctioning it out through a narrow tube or needle. After liposuction, swelling and bruising are a common occurrence, since the procedure does cause the body significant trauma. A 2002 study showed that TraumaCare™ makes a statistically significant reduction in bruising and swelling.
The beneficial effects of the TraumaCare™ regimen for cosmetic surgery procedures have been experienced by thousands of patients. Explore the clinical benefits of TraumaCare™ for your post-operative recovery.

Hernia Surgery Recovery
We have heard from many people that using the TraumaCare™ regimen reduces the swelling and bruising that are a normal part of hernia surgery recovery. A hernia is an abdominal lump that develops when the small intestine or another organ or fatty tissue protrudes through a weak area or a tear in the abdominal muscle wall. Hernia surgery removes the weak or torn area from the abdominal wall and reinforces the surrounding area to prevent the hernia from happening again. Hernia surgery is one of the most common operations performed in the United States, with more than 900,000 hernia repairs done each year.
Common side effects experienced during hernia surgery recovery include bruising and/or swelling at the site of the operation. TraumaCare™ can help reduce this swelling and bruising during your hernia surgery recovery. Contact Alpine Pharmaceuticals to learn more.
